This pattern contains all of the foundation pieces in full size. The pattern is TRANSPOSED to facilitate tracing on to muslin.
This is an INTERMEDIATE PATTERN.
The pattern does NOT include directions for the technique of Foundation Piecing.
Please consult a book on Foundation Piecing for detailed instructions if you have not yet experienced the joy of Foundation Piecing.
Supplies Needed
2 ½ Yards of Muslin or Cotton Batiste
(for foundation if you choose)
Pigma Pen for tracing
A full stash of blues, purples, yellows, oranges, reds, fuchsias, purples and greens. Fat Quarters will do.
The appliqués were simply cut from fabric.
Fat Quarter of Palm Tree Fabric
Fat Quarter of Fabric with Huts and Surfboards
Fat Quarter of Rock fabric
½ yard Tropical Fish fabric for appliqué
1 Yard Fusible Web
